SFRLB Beach Day & Bonfire

Join us for a full day of fun at the beach on Saturday 8/20.

We'll have our morning run on the beach path, then you can relax on the beach, surf and swim in the water, play frisbee, visit the Bolsa Chica Ecological reserve, kayak in Sunset beach or bike to HB for lunch. In the evening we'll have our traditional potluck bonfire with hot dogs and smore's. You can come and go as you wish, stay the whole day or just come in for a little bit.
7AM - Long Distance run (meet at Warner and PCH, behind the Jack in the box)
9AM - Saturday morning run and walk. (same meeting location).
All day fun and games.
4PM - Bike ride to Huntington Beach Pier (~10 miles round trip)
6PM - Bonfire and potluck dinner.

Specific location (life guard tower and fire pit) will be disclosed early that morning, aiming for towers #24-#25 (The first pit from Warner/PCH)

Our Bonfire Captain Steve will be on location as early as 5AM.
Please use this link to volunteer for keeping our fire pit and spot during the day.
The bonfire is $10 for members and $15 for guests.
Parking at the beach is $20 per vehicle, so plan to carpool. use the sign up sheet in the event post.
Parking is also available on Warner/PCH and on Pacific Ave. (behind the Jack in the box).
